Emmerdale 's Manpreet Sharma faces the police tonight (January 24) as part of their investigation into Meena Jutla's crimes.
Some of this evidence has even been kept out of the public domain, allowing the police to keep the upper hand in the investigation.
Emmerdale promises more on-screen changes for an important reason
The momentous episodes are something that Emmerdale executive producer Jane Hudson believes shouldn't be a singular occasion, and she hopes that the various soaps will reunite in the future to highlight other key issues for society.
"That idea should've been on screen before COVID," Hudson declared recently to Digital Spy and other media. "I think it was a brilliant thing for the soaps to unite and we're continuing our work on climate issues as we go forward.

"I couldn't bear it. After everything she did, and knowing you got run over and knowing why," he confessed. "I was worried when you disappeared. I knew something wasn't right… I just panicked.
Manpreet understood it was just an accident and thanked him for "looking out for [her] ever since". She also told the vicar that him staying at her bedside "means everything".

The drama starts to unfold during next week's episodes of the long-running programme as the two youngsters want to spend as much time together as they can.
