EastEnders fans were in for a shock during Thursday's episode as another character left Walford. Peter Beale decided to leave the square following a huge betrayal from his grandmother Kathy Beale.
Arriving home soaking wet, he raged at Kathy for Ben's behaviour and soon realised that she had betrayed him. The eldest son of Ian Beale realised he had no real future growing up in the East End and made a fiery exit, he also gave brother Bobby Beale a mouthful before turning his back on Walford.

But he isn't the only one turning his back on Albert Square this year as Lola Pearce, Stuart Highway, Mick Carter, Dana Monroe, and Jada Lennox are all set to wave goodbye to the East End in the coming months.
