London's Metropolitan Police chief announced officials will not only be cracking down on British citizens for commenting on the riots in the UK, but on American citizens as well.

"We will throw the full force of the law at people. And whether you're in this country committing crimes on the streets or committing crimes from further afield online, we will come after you," Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley told Sky News.

UK RIOTS PLUNGE COUNTRY INTO WORST UNREST IN YEARS, PRIME MINISTER VOWS TO APPLY 'FULL FORCE OF LAW'

A Sky News reporter asked Commissioner Rowley to further explain his warning, arguing that high profile figures have been "whipping up the hatred," and that "the likes of Elon Musk" have been getting involved. She then asked what the police force's plan will be "when it comes to dealing with people who are whipping up this kind of behavior from behind the keyboard who may be in a different country?"

CLEAN BANDIT have been targeted by burglars – losing £35,000 worth of tech and cash during a work trip to Ibiza.

The chart-topping trio flew to the White Isle at the weekend to work on the video for new single Cry Baby with superstar DJ David Guetta.

"Jack and Luke [Patterson] flew back to London because they had to edit the video, so luckily the footage was safe.

"But I was supposed to bring back the lenses. We went out for dinner, then, when we came back, someone had crowbarred the window and taken the lenses and laptops and cash."

Grace, who is hopeful they will be able to claim their losses on insurance, added: "We were all quite scared sleeping there that night.

Unfortunately for them, it wasn't the only disaster to strike during the whirlwind trip ahead of the release of single Cry Baby today.

The track also features Anne-Marie, who the band previously worked with on 2016 chart-topper Rockabye.

"So we built this rig with tubes that go over his head and pump water down his face, like gushing tears.

Grace added of David: "I love him. I think he's fantastic. He couldn't believe we were making the video ourselves. He was like, 'You guys are crazy!'. He said we should do one for him."

Emmerdale's Luke McAllister Star Noah Huntley Unrecognisable 27 Years Since Soap Debut - OK!

Image More details: Found here

Emmerdale star Noah Huntley is barely recognisable 27 years after his stint as Luke McAllister on the popular ITV soap. The actor, who later made a name for himself in Hollywood with several major film roles, first graced our screens as the fresh-faced Luke back in 1993.

Now 49 , Noah made quite the entrance into Emmerdale , embroiled in a feud with the Dingles and left at the altar by his bride-to-be Tina.

Fast forward over 25 years, and Noah looks strikingly different from his soap character, now sporting a neatly trimmed beard and shorter hair. His career took him to Hollywood where he landed leading roles in films like The Chronicles of Narnia and Snow White and the Huntsman.

Just a few years after leaving the soap in 2000, Noah starred alongside Cillian Murphy and Naomi Harris in Danny Boyle's 28 Days Later. He then joined the cast of Holby City as Will Curtis, featuring in two seasons between 2004 and 2005 before making his return to the big screen.

In 2012, he impressed cinema audiences in Snow White and the Huntsman, and followed up in 2015 with his role as Captain Petrue in Dracula Untold.

He also played Elizabeth Hurley's lover in series The Royals and Donovan Osborn in American drama series Pandora, which aired in 2020.

Outside of his career on-screen, Noah has also models for Paul Smith, Jigsaw and Bloomingdales - as well as been a campaigner for L'Oreal men.

The star has found himself on the cover of a number of international magazines including Vogue, Esquire and GQ thanks to his good looks.

AP Rocky: A Timeline Of Their Relationship

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky first met during rehearsals for a performance at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards, and their relationship began not with a bang, but with a squeeze: Rocky cupped Rihanna's backside onstage, which she says didn't bother her. "My team was worried that I wanted to have his head on a mantle," Rihanna told Interview magazine in April 2024. "But I was like, 'Ah, nah.' That's why everybody was like, 'Oh my god. She likes him.'"

Has there ever been a more striking fashion moment than Rihanna letting the world in on the news of her pregnancy while dripping jewels on a wintry Harlem street? I think not.

Nobody does a pregnancy reveal like Rih, who wore a scarlet Alaïa and Loewe look to show off her second baby bump while performing at the Super Bowl LVII halftime show.

In a cover story celebrating her growing family , Rihanna gushed about RZA's relationship with A$AP Rocky to British Vogue , saying, "Their connection is undeniable. The second Rocky makes eye contact with him he is on fire. He is obsessed with his father. And I'm like: 'Didn't I give birth to you? What is going on?'"

Small businesses in North Finchley have said they feel "frightened" as they prepare for rioting by boarding up shop fronts and closing early.

Police remain braced for further unrest as they monitor reports of at least 100 possible gatherings across the UK amid threats against immigration law specialists across the country.

Businesses in areas listed as possible targets said they feel "apprehensive" about the planned disorder this evening (August 7) and are taking precautions, including removing valuables from their shops and closing early.

In North Finchley, workers have today been seen boarding up shops while restaurants have their shutters down as police patrolled the area.

A manager at a school uniform shop, who wished to remain anonymous, said that the expected riots were having an impact on her business during its "busiest time of the year".

Asked how she felt regarding the current threats, she said: "I feel apprehensive really – a bit frightening, not experienced anything like this before.

"All the businesses in this street – it's so quiet, there's hardly anyone walking in the street at the moment."

Police, the Home Office and the Government are set to join UK retailers in urgent talks over how to protect their staff and customers as they brace for more rioting across the country.

A MAJOR high street brand with 700 branches in the country is shutting two stores in days, leaving shoppers disappointed.

The company has confirmed its shops in Chard, Somerset , and Frinton-on-Sea, Essex , will be closing their doors over the next two weeks.

The Chard store will close on Wednesday, August 14, and after that date the closest location for customers will be Honiton, East Devon, which is 13.5 miles away.

A spokesperson for Holland and Barrett told The Sun that the closures are part of a ⁘location review⁘.

They said H⁘B has worked with staff individually and, where possible, they have taken roles in other nearby stores .

The company said it is investing £70million in transforming its stores, technology and developing new products for customers.

H⁘B said its regular review of locations includes ⁘opening new stores, consolidating some smaller stores into one larger store, and in some instances closing stores where there is no longer strong customer demand.⁘
